The Origin
Tee It Up For Kids has its roots in the very personal life and career experiences of Peak guru Michael R. Frazier. Rising above childhood physical abuse and neglect, happiness and success became THE mission - along with a desire to be and achieve more than his past had attempted to dictate for him.
Ambition, enthusiasm, tenacity and his go for broke action mindset forced him to develop himself further and rise in a career field that would make a true difference for others. His career path culminated in successful entrepreneurship and the ability to create lasting solutions for the issue closest to his heart: KIDS.
Throughout his career in human capital optimization, Mike Frazier has been on the front lines- witnessing first hand the devastating effects a poor home environment, physical and mental abuse or the lack of positive soft skills development (behavioral traits) have on children and young adults as they attempt to grow or transition from school to work or progress in life.
Committed to work diligently to help others less fortunate or capable rise above their circumstances, the Tee It Up For Kids concept was born. Failure is NOT an option.
What Is Tee It Up For Kids?
Tee It Up For Kids is a youth assistance initiative based on a simple, yet dynamic concept- tap the explosive growth of recreational, amateur, and professional golf: outings, skills challenges, corporate, amateur, and individual tournaments- at the local, state and national level- in effort to provide resources to prevent child abuse, assist those in need, build stronger, more resilient kids and create targeted success/leadership programs for our youth, especially our at-risk youth.
By creating a strong cause, purpose, and brand for participants to support behind the event, all can golf for a cause- NOT just because! Sponsoring organizations can attract more participation and donations than the typical non-charitable event, in turn, driving awareness of their corporate brand, separating themselves in their marketplace, creating goodwill among participants and a keen sense of honor and contribution to their community. Best of all Tee It Up For Kids will be generating much-needed capital to support local, state, and national youth initiatives and education! Everyone wins- especially the kids!
